The Idiagbon descendent Progressive association has Organized a Special Prayer Ahead of the 2023 general elections, asking God to make Hon. Abdulwaheed Shola Jimoh Idiagbon (SIJ) the member that will be representing Ilorin East/South at the Federal House of Representatives.
The Group Recited verses from the Holy Qur’an and prayed to God to guide Jimmy Idiagbon whom they described as a Philanthropist who has contributed hugely to the development of the Idiagbon community.
The Prayer which was held yesterday at Idiagbon Mosque, Emir’s road, Ilorin was led by Sheik Aremu Solihu ( Imam of Idiagbon Mosque).
Mall. Sulaiman Oba Idiagbon, The President of the association, while speaking with newsmen shortly after the event stated that the prayer was organized in honor of the Jimmy Idiagbon Ambition to contest for the Kwara State House of Representatives seat at the Federal level, He said he is confident of good representation if Jimmy is elected, knowing fully well that he has contributed immensely to the development of his community even before joining politics.
Mall. Sulaiman who on behalf of the people of Idiagbon family pledged unalloyed support to Jimmy’s aspiration, Called on the leadership of the All Progressive Congress (APC) to provide a level playing ground for all aspirants in the primary election to provide a quality representation for the people of Ilorin East/ South Constituency.
Jimmy Idiagbon, is also one of the APC House of Representatives aspirant for Ilorin South/Ilorin East Federal Constituency during 2019 polls.
